Cold Pittsburgh

The Pittsburgh Downtown overlook has been voted among the top 10 overlooks by Nat Geo. I had to brave a passing snow storm and some chilly winds but I consider myself lucky to have witnessed this foggy scene.

Ben Franklin Bridge

Location : Description : This was my second attempt at capturing the beautiful Ben Franklin suspension bridge which connects Philadelphia with Camden and I was glad that the sky produced some beautiful colors. I have used a single long exposure of 20 secs to capture the bridge and the colorful reflection on the Delaware river.

Philly Skyline Sunset

Location : Description :The "Sky was on on Fire" was the exact feel that I got while witnessing this beautiful sunset in downtown Philly. When the sky is this beautiful, you just need to be at the right location and have a camera in hand...may be a few filters (now I am getting choosy) but jokes apart just hold your breath and enjoy the scene.

Glory Window

Colorful Mosaic glass ceiling of the Thanksgiving Square Chapel in Downtown Dallas (Texas). The most prominent and recognizable feature of Thanks-Giving Square is the Chapel of Thanksgiving, a small, spiral tower that features an enclave for prayerful thanks. The entrance to the chapel is at the end of a 125-foot (38 m) bridge that runs over a cascading waterfall. Inside the chapel, the spiral is topped with stained glass "Glory Window", one of largest horizontally mounted stained-glass pieces in the world.

Houston Downtown

I shot this view of the Houston downtown from the parking of the Eleanor Tinsley Park which is located on Allen Parkway. I shot this wide angle view using the Nikon 18-35 lens.

Freak-Out

This was a high thrill ride called "Freak-out" As the name says everyone was freaking out like hell. I tried capturing the 3D motion of the ride by doing a nice long exposure. The curved lines in the image show the path tracked by the ride. The bright white flash lights did disturb me while shooting this but I like the way the final image has come out.

Carnival and colors
